Join us beginning February 2020 for our new Ignite Book Club! The first night (February 6th) we will meet to talk about the reading plan for the book and lay out some expectations and goals for our Book Club journey. Attendance each month is not required, but we do hope you will join us every month if you can.
*WHEN: First Thursday every month beginning February 6th from 7:15 – 8:00 pm. *April 2nd – * This is a virtual class in response to the stay-at-home order issued by the PA Governor to avoid spreading COVID-19. Sign up in advance to receive your Zoom link!
*WHO: Anyone who loves to read, who loves to talk about the books they read, and who is interested in learning more about yoga, its origins & traditions, and/or how to live a better life in this complicated, fast-paced world.
*COST: FREE to Ignite Monthly members and punch card holders. $5 donation for non-Ignite members.
*WHAT: Each month we will discuss a chapter(s) read since our last gathering. It will be an opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and talk through what it all means for us as individuals, a community, and a society as a whole.
Our first book will be Living Your Yoga by Judith Hanson Lasater, which you can purchase at most bookstores and online. A limited number of copies are available at the studio for purchase as well. Please try to have the book for the first gathering.
Future books will be decided on as a group when it comes closer to the time to start a new one.
