Yoga for Pelvic Floor Strength:
A Modality for Improving Stress Incontinence

This program has been developed to integrate yoga into pelvic health. Participants will experience how to integrate the breath and pelvic floor in seated and standing yoga postures to optimize pelvic health and continence.

We will review behavior modifications that may also assist in improving stress urinary incontinence with diet and fluid intake. Terri, the physical therapist, will also review other modalities that she incorporates with patients she sees on an outpatient basis to improve urinary incontinence issues. Participants will learn how to integrate all shared information to improve urinary incontinence at home. 1/2 the class will be informational — the other 1/2 of the class will be yoga practice.

$15/person. Pre-registration is required.
